Asia Kitchen in Knoxville

If you want awesome Asian food, this place is the real deal! Food is excellent and authentic, portions are HUGE, prices are great, and the service has always been wonderful. Definitely give it a try, you won’t regret it!

This was my first visit. We started with fried dumplings and soup which was very good. The time between appetizers and mains was quite long, but the food was worth the wait. Crispy duck, chicken curry, beef with cumin, and beef shank with tripe. All dishes tasted good, and were authentic in a way that your average Chinese restaurant is not. Service was kind of slow, and we had to ask for the check twice. I will absolutely be going back as they may have been short on staff. If I rated them strictly on food it would have been five stars, and I will change the score if necessary after the next visit.

Great menu and really tasty food. We had takeout and the way they packaged the food was very neat, meticulously packed. Portions are out of this world. If you are really hungry or want leftovers for the next day, this is the place to go.

Ate here once and the food was very good. Came back today with my brother after talking it up for weeks and we proceeded to sit at our table for over fifteen minutes without receiving any service. We watched other diners come in after us and receive service while we continued to be ignored. Ended up walking out without ever receiving service. They appear very understaffed so will probably give them another chance.

Generally speaking, it is probably the best Chinese restaurant in Knoxville. Authentic Szechwan food. Service are good and efficient. Easy to call and take away as well. In weekend evenings, it will be very busy and crowd.

Some of best and more traditional asian restaurant I have ever been to!! I will order something different every visit because I know that no matter what I order, it will be delicious! I suggest just ordering a few dishes and sharing everything. With the portion sizes being huge, you will have no problem leaving with a full stomach.

The restaurant is quaint and just right for family dinning. It took a while for our food to arrive, but it was worth it. We ordered the Mongolian beef and the sesame chicken; also a side of noodles and fried rice. I was very hungry don't know if that had anything to do with how good I found the food to be. The staff was nice and attentive I will be going back to try some of the other food.

If you want the absolute best Asian food in Knoxville, besides Kabuki in Turkey Creek, go to this place. Been going for years. You know it's great and authentic when every other person is Asian. Fantastic.

Never ever go there on holidays unless you would like to ruin the whole day! There will be tons of people and you would stay hungry over one hour without anything on your table. I totally understand it would be slow on holidays but wait for over one hour after making the order is still too low. Good thing is the manager would be patient on your complain and would suggest you to dine in other restaurants.On a casual day it is probably OK but do not ever try to dine there on holidays.

Great food. Good service. The light is low, and the bathrooms could be cleaner.

Got the tom(shrimp) pho and duck meals from the lunch menu plus some egg rolls. Got boba tea to go. Everything was great. Service was fast. A very nice place to grab lunch from.

It's seems that the majority of restaurants that I have been too that are the blandest looking on the outside have some of the best foods waiting to be served up. I went with a group of friends here before we went to the Sunrise Market & we have no regrets beyond not being able to eat more. Our server was not only nice but also helped point us in the direction of dishes that we might be interested in based on what we wanted; ex. hot/spicy or flavorful & herby. We also enjoyed the lazy susan style table making sharing food easier for us all. I will definitely be back with more room in my stomach & friends to share my meal with.Note: Wait to be seated & Pay at the table

Got one of the lunch specials (chicken fried rice with some egg drop soup) and had lunch for 3 days!!! So much food for a good price! Really tasty too!

Just tried this place out a couple of days ago after seeing other promising reviews and my high expectations were met, if not exceeded! The portions are enormous, the hot and sour soup is amazing, the pork egg rolls are crispy and delicious! I think we just discovered our new favorite Asian place in Knoxville!

One of the most authentic Chinese restaurants my family has had in Tennessee. Generous portion sizes. Everything is delicious. Can't help but to gorge every time I'm here.

Food was good, service was good and the prices were affordable. The decor was nice.

This place offers an expansive menu of excellent choices. Never had a bad meal here. Highly recommended for large groups to create your own buffet.

Excellent service, excellent food. One of the best Chinese restaurants I've visited. Portions are huge and will not leave you feeling hungry. The spice was perfect and they really put attention to detail in these dishes. Would recommend to anyone local or just passing through!

Literally took over 1 hr to get Foodournorder of 4 entrees. We came in at 2:08 and got our order one plate at a time between 3:10 and 3:25. Flavor was good, serving size was large.

I read the reviews before deciding to order take out at this location. Upon calling in my to go order, I waited 30 minutes before leaving the house due to the reviews stating it takes awhile to get your food. I arrived at the restaurant & still had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get my to go order to find out it was not what I asked for. The server had the cook to redo the order taking an additional 10 minutes. I must admit that the food was delicious and well worth the wait. I noticed the "Now Hiring" signage on the building as I was leaving the restaurant.....which clearly explains the looooong wait.

Food was great. It will be good to go with several people and share different dishes will be fun.

Our favorite place to get take out in Knoxville. We try something new on the menu every week and have never been disappointed. We ALWAYS get the general tso's and love trying different pork and vegetable dishes, especially the spare ribs.

I enjoy eating great Chinese food for takeout once in a while.The Asia Kitchen Restaurant has a really good takeout service.They are closed every Tuesday and they have the best prices before 3pm.The chicken or shrimp fried rice is really good, with fresh scramble eggs on top.

The only place that offers authentic, non-Americanized Chinese cuisine in Knoxville. Specializes in Sichuan cuisine. I can confidently say it's the real deal -- I can taste the tingly (麻辣) flavor from the Sichuan pepper (花椒). Bring along a friend that speaks Mandarin and get adventurous with the menu!

Great authentic Chinese food. Great place to get together and eat with family and friends. Order your dish it comes in a big container that way you can share with everybody in your party.

Painfully mediocre. Food was soggy and bland. The soups did not taste good.

No pad thai, No Dine In, would normally be 2*. but the pork freid rice was maybe the best i've had in years. i hope you get over your fear, soon, so we can eat like normal people.

My husband, me and our daughter love eating here. I’m a vegetarian and their general tso tofu it AMAZING. Also their pho is delicious. And the shrimp hibachi!!

Nice little restaurant. Food is very good. Best crab and cheese stuffed wontons I've had. Be prepared to have a long meal as it takes time for food to come out... but it's worth it. Entrees are huge so share or take some home!

Place an order tonight through bite squad, ordered the shrimp and scallops with mixed vegetables with white rice "spicy". Take out came in a long plastic dish with a plastic top and for delivery the presentation of it was nice.the white rice was perfectly cooked to my perfection of sticky rice. The shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection they were not undercooked or overcooked, the shrimp had the perfect bite and scallops melted in your mouth, the mixed vegetables we're not undercooked or overcooked they have also had the perfect bite. The sauce with slight flavourful and not overpowering. I will definitely be ordering from here again. I gave a four-star only because I have not visited the place myself. So for my first experience with delivery, I was impressed since this was the first time eating from this restaurant.

Food is great. That's why I give 1 star for that, but during the COVID-19 I made a takeout order and the tip was added on my bill already. What was it for? I called and picked it up by myself and tip was written on the bill when I picked it up. That was the last time I went there. No more. I'd been put up with your poor services for long enough but kept going just because of food and supporting as I am asian too. Again, food is very authentic, but service is extremely poor, possibly the worst in Knoxville I could possibly think of.

Wow! This place was amazing! I can’t wait to go back. There are so many options on the menu, it’s so hard to decide what to get. Everything was really good, but the crab rangoons were phenomenal. This place was featured on Netflix’s Ugly Delicious for its authenticity and quality & I understand why! We left around 6:30 pm and there was a line out the door, so get there early to avoid a wait.

There's a wait sometimes, but the food tastes fantastic, so it can be worth that wait. It's also affordable for the family style large portions and for the variety of the menu. My fiance and I almost never finish two dishes at one time, so we take food home sometimes. This place is great for bigger groups of people however. They have tables that have a lazy susan on the table so the dishes can be shared with friends/family. Besides the wait, there's not really a lot of downsides. Overall, good experience.

Best Pho I've been able to find in Knoxville and yes, we've been to every place that has it on the menu. Very flavorful and well cooked hibachi dishes and the best Szechuan chicken I've ever had. Fantastic service, kid friendly (they have high chairs) and delicious food!

Excellent noodle and hibachi dishes! Their sauces are rich and developed. Service is awful. My hibachi dish was cold but never could hunt down a waitress to reheat, while my husband'd dish was steaming. For two of us with one dish only, we were there over an hour. I will definitely try again based on quality of food but with high hopes for better service.

I have had Chinese in NY, DC, SF, Knoxville has one of the beat chinese cuisine outside of China. This is the real deal! I would rate this best of Knoxville.

Amazing authentic Sichuan cuisine. Located in a strip mall next to an Asian market, this place delivers classic cuisine and ingredients alongside some more approachable American classics. The Spicy Fish Bowl was great. Salty fish and Chinese Sausage Fried Rice was a table pleaser. But for me the standouts were the Garlic Chicken and Jalapeno Steak.

The dinner size orders are well worth the prices, a bit high but great food and fresh.

Always love it here. Huge lunch portions at a good price but if you're really in for a meal come for dinner. Best Chinese I've had since moving back from China.

Food was great. The presentation was good and it was yummy. Only thing I would expect to be better next time is serving time. 40 min wait to get food (include 10 min wait until someone to come by to ask for drink) is not pleasant, but it is forgiven as it was delicious. Well be back.

Absolutely delicious!! The staff are great, there's always a thai cooking show on, and the table is set with chopsticks by default. They have a great variety, but it is a sit down and order as opposed to a buffet

The best Asian food in Knoxville and the worst service. My order was wrong and I was over charged. I have been waiting for 40 minutes for my carry out order. A total of one hour since calling it in. I know it will be good but ridiculously long wait.
